As part of the SSMP consortium, ENCO contributes to the Local Development Forum (LDF) of the Association of Polish Cities (APC). Swiss experts provide practical knowledge and support the sustainable development of Polish cities.
As part of the SSMP mandate within the DoT programme, ENCO and Urbaplan are actively involved in the Local Development Forum (LDF), an established online seminar series organised by the Association of Polish Cities (APC). The format provides practical insights and Swiss perspectives on key challenges in urban development.
ENCO is primarily responsible for identifying and mobilising Swiss experts from public administration, the private sector and professional associations. Their contributions enable direct, practice-oriented knowledge transfer between Switzerland and Poland. The objective is to support Polish cities in identifying concrete approaches and adapting them to their local contexts.
The current seminar cycle is dedicated to Swiss expertise and offers Polish cities access to proven solutions in areas such as mobility, energy, circular economy, vocational education and training, and integration. The strong demand, with between 70 and 200 participants per seminar, highlights the relevance of the format.
By March 2026, several online seminars had already been delivered, including:
