In Warsaw, ENCO brought together Swiss experts and representatives from Polish cities. Through a series of thematic workshops, key urban challenges were addressed and practical solutions explored.
Together with Urbaplan and in close collaboration with the Association of Polish Cities (APC), ENCO organised a workshop series in Warsaw for representatives of selected Polish cities. The aim was to share concrete ideas and proven approaches from Switzerland on key municipal issues, while fostering direct exchange between experts and city representatives.
In October 2025, eight thematic workshop days took place in Warsaw, addressing key areas of urban development:
- Good governance & digitalisation
- Economic development & vocational education and training
- Social inclusion
- Health & ageing
- Participation & transparency
- Nature conservation, climate adaptation & sponge city concepts
- Urban mobility & public safety
- Energy efficiency, renewable energy & decarbonisation in the building sector
For each topic, Swiss experts were carefully selected and involved. Together with Polish professionals, they shared practical approaches, tools and real-world experience. Particular emphasis was placed on dialogue and on ensuring that the insights could be adapted to the local context of the participating cities.
The workshops created a structured platform for exchange, enabling cities to identify relevant solutions and further develop them for their own local needs.
